Mission

The primary mission of the Iowa Sleep Disorders Center is to provide excellent health care services and public awareness education comprehensively to the central Iowa community and individual with sleep disorders. 

Staff

Steve K. Zorn, MD, FCCP, DABSM, DABIM-Sleep

Dr. Zorn started the Iowa Sleep Disorders Center in 1991 and is the Medical Director for both the Ankeny and West Des Moines Sleep Centers. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, and Sleep Medicine.

Khaleel Ahmed, MD

Dr. Ahmed joined the Iowa Sleep Disorders Center in February of 2009. He completed his Sleep Medicine Fellowship from the Yale University School of medicine program with the Norwalk Hospital, Norwalk, Connecticut.  He completed his sleep medicine residency at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center which is affiliated with Johns Hopkins University of school of medicine, Baltimore, Maryland.

Barb Zorn, RN, MSN

Barb joined the Iowa Sleep Disorders Center in 2005 as the Administrator.

Brandon Butters, BS, RRT, RPSGT

Brandon entered the field of sleep medicine when he joined the Iowa Sleep Disorders Center in 2001. Before that Brandon worked as a Respiratory Therapist in acute care and neuro rehab units. Currently Brandon is the Operations Manager for the corporation overseeing both sleep centers.
